Meghan was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 2013. She spent her articles and the first part of her career articling and practising at Majic Purdy Law Corporation in Fernie BC. After visiting Haida Gwaii in the winter of 2014, Meghan and her family moved to Haida Gwaii the following year. Shortly after moving she set up her office space to continue her legal practice in the community of Masset. Meghan is thrilled to be part of the community in Masset and enjoys her clients as well as the other friendly business owners and not for profit societies in town. Meghan is also lucky to have clients in all the other communities on Haida Gwaii including Old Massett, Port Clements, Tlell, Skidegate, Queen Charlotte, and Sandspit.
In addition to her legal practice Meghan sits on two boards: the Haida Gwaii Legal Project Society and the Real Education and Access to Lawyers Board.
Meghan is also a member of the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal.
